12 years old!!! Our little baby boy is no longer a baby, not yet a man, but all Holmes and Kenny! I cannot begin to put into words how very proud I am of my son. Twelve years ago I would have never imagined having such an awesome young man for a son that I have. Holy crap! 12 years old!
Not a Little Boy, Not Yet a Man
The most overwhelming thing in the world is having children… The most amazing thing though is also having children. 12 years ago Kenneth William Lee made me a Daddy and Sarah a Mommy and changed our world! Today Kenny is 12 years old, our house is invaded with pre-teen boys and a million and a half laughs, smiles, and giggles! What a day!!
Kenny had one of the most awesome party’s that even I enjoyed! We rented out the kid’s school’s gym and Pastor Vieth and we had the most epic Nerf war ever! It was a thing of beauty! We played for what seemed like four hours and it was amazing!!!!

After leaving the church we headed to the Simonton Lake Drive In and had root beers and cheers and sang Happy Birthday to our big 12 year old. Kenny and John, best buddies from the womb (literally they have been friends since Sarah and Kathy were preggers), have been together for every birthday party for the last 10 years and tonight they worked together to beat Pastor Vieth and me in the Nerf war then topped it off with presents at the root beer stand and amazing cheers! What a night! Then back to our home for Nintendo, more presents, and game… Jam-packed room full of kids playing Super Smash Brothers and parents that are crashing!!!

Kenny graduated from Indiana University South Bend in 2012 with a Bachelors in General Studies with three major concentrations: English, Political Science, and Electronic Media. Kenny has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice.
Kenny spent twelve years in the United States Army, Active and National Guard. He was an Infantryman, Airborne qualified and a combat life saver (a medical class). He spent some time overseas in Baghdad, Iraq. Came home and quickly got back to doing what he loves.
Kenny loves to help people. All he wants to do is help people with whatever they need help with; especially Veterans. He is the CEO of FreedomSystem.org a Veteran non-profit organization. Where he donates a lot of his time; the rest of his time he works as an independent graphic artist, designer, and writer.
