Memorial Day Speech

As the day is long, I never expected to be in front of a crowd and people were actually listening to me!  It is kind of surreal to be honest!  The crowd was great!  We had about 100-150 people in attendance watching me speak.  I mean they weren’t there to listen to me specifically, but they were there to honor the fallen military members that had fallen, and I was honored to be able to share my thoughts with them.  The speech was a short history lesson and really it was a call to action!  A call to action to help Veterans, and reach out to those Veterans that are struggling and contemplating suicide.


It has been a personal mission of mine ever since one of my best friends from high school decided to take his own life.  I dedicate to helping Veterans like him.

Kenny graduated from Indiana University South Bend in 2012 with a Bachelors in General Studies with three major concentrations: English, Political Science, and Electronic Media. Kenny has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice.

Kenny spent twelve years in the United States Army, Active and National Guard. He was an Infantryman, Airborne qualified and a combat life saver (a medical class). He spent some time overseas in Baghdad, Iraq. Came home and quickly got back to doing what he loves.

Kenny loves to help people. All he wants to do is help people with whatever they need help with; especially Veterans. He is the CEO of a Veteran non-profit organization. Where he donates a lot of his time; the rest of his time he works as an independent graphic artist, designer, and writer.
