I always want to start out these blogs on this site with the word: “So…” I had a professor that would have killed me if she read that as my start of the article. Here it goes:
I have been quite busy lately. My kids are getting stronger, bigger, more and more stubborn – kind of like their grandparents (Bechtol and Holmes), their mother, and of course more and more like me! My wife is still really enjoying her job at Grossnickle! And I have been really busy with trying to get the logistics of FreedomSystem.org together. In doing that I have found myself spearheading the marketing and media for the upcoming stand down titled: Military Veteran Stand Down with a Heart. I didn’t title it, but I did logo it!
This will be happening on August 1. 2015 from 10a-2p. It will be a lot of information for Veterans and their loved ones. I have the marketing piece down and I invite everyone who reads this blog to go to the Facebook Event Page and if you haven’t already clicked that you are going +Join then to do so! Facebook Event.
If you have been paying attention to my past posts then you would know and see that I have been making strides on senior photos and then my little sister’s Graduation Video. The logo for her graduation video was fun to do especially since it is so simple! It did make it a little difficult to be so simple, but we made it through and I think that it turned out to be quite elegant – like my little sister!
I also created an announcement/invite for a family friend of Sarah’s! It also helped that I did the young man’s Senior Photos as well! I think that it turned out alright! They sent them out and their grad party went down with only one hitch: it rained! From my understanding though it was a good party and would like to congratulate Noah on a job well done!
So as you can see I have been quite busy with doing many things! I am excited to be able to keep having opportunities to be able to keep working on these fun projects! Because honestly when it comes down to it my kiddos are what matters the most, and I don’t want them to see their Daddy not working. I want them to have everything, but at the same time I want them to have to work for what they have. I don’t want them to be hoodlums. Even though I would love them the same no matter what. Kenny and Bradley have stolen the limelight in this family and are what Sarah and I strive for everyday!
Oh yeah, I also forgot that I have a new thing to add to my resume (lol): Tattoo Artist. My buddy came and asked me to design a tattoo for him. My friend has never had a tattoo done, but is going to have a half-sleeve done first time up! My friend is very brave! Here is the preliminary design. Will update when he actually get’s it done!
So as you can see it has been a busy, busy, busy time for me! I am excited to have made strides in what I am doing and I look forward to the future.
Until next time:
PEACE!
