JESUS: LIBERAL OR CONSERVATIVE?

Time it Takes to Read:

Jesus was a ________________________ or ____________________________?

jesus21You take the options and make a decision.  Honestly He would fit in both categories: Liberal or Conservative, but let me explain a little to those that may not know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.  Jesus was an Orthodox Jew.  He was perfect, and He followed all of the laws of the Tora.  So that would make Him Conservative right!?  Right.  However; to counter that point Jesus would sit with undesirables.  He would make the Priests wonder why He (Jesus) was eating with them.

So what does that mean?  Jesus was a moderate?

No!

Jesus is God.  He is the Son of God.  He is part of the perfect trifecta.  Jesus was not a liberal.  Jesus was not a conservative.  What He is; is a loving God.  One God Three Persons.  Jesus would not follow with abortion.  He would be completely against that.  Because it is said in Jeremiah 1:5: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

So we can take a look at the Bible for any answer.

I would contend that Jesus would be a conservative for the time being.  Following the laws of old, yet, with forming the Commandment, “Love everyone as you would love yourself!”  And remember sometimes loving everyone as you would love yourself means that you will not accept their insolent behavior as acceptable; rather point out what they are doing in a loving and Christian manner.

Just remember, that we love everyone equally; we hate their sins and do not condone their sins as acceptable behavior.  And we ask for our planks to be removed from our eyes before trying to surgically remove the specks from our cohort’s eyes.

Until next time:

PEACE
