Shots Fired!

Time it Takes to Read:

The United States Army may have some of the best trained soldiers in the world!  However; they also have some of the dumbest and worst people in jobs that really require finesse.  These people often get promoted before people that really deserve it do.  That is horrible!

These are probably the same people that run the Veteran’s Administration.  Unfortunately; the VA is employed by only 30% of Veterans.  That being said the people that are employed by the VA are the people that got rated good for the soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines that were actually working underneath them, and they took the credit for their subordinates.  This is a common phenomenon among the military branches, and in my volunteer time with FreedomSystem.org this is always true.  The VA is inhabited by people who are there for a paycheck and don’t really care about Veterans.

Anyhow, I digress.

The United States Army Infantry does it best!  Why?  Because those grunts are proving to be the best workers and some excellent business owners in the world.  Look at In The Arena fitness/gear, John Burk was a drill sergeant in the United States Army.  Then you can look at another, even bigger company: GruntStyle.  The owner of that company, a t-shirt company, that works 24 hours a day and employs 60% of Veterans.  Daniel Alarik, too, was a drill sergeant in the United States Army.  Furthermore; I often have interaction with several business owners that were also grunts.  I am in contact with the owner of a local security company called Majestic Security who is also a grunt!  I am sure there are many other companies out there owned by Veterans as a matter of fact a quick Google search showed me this: https://www.forbes.com/sites/marklrockefeller/2016/11/11/the-top-25-veteran-startups-in-america/#6f8244df6e84 .

So in honor of all my fellow Veteran Business Owners:
