Holy crap! Time has flown. It is flying. My daughter is six years old today! All of my friends that have kids said that it would be different having a daughter opposed to having another boy… I chalked it up to them only having daughters or… Naivety, perhaps? Either way I never thought much about it. The relationship that I have with my two sons is different, WAY different, than that of my daughter! Obviously, I parent the same as I would with the my boys, but it’s easier to let her slide with things I’ve noticed… She bats her eyes and says, “But Daddy…” Ugh!
My daughter and I snuggling and watching a movie!
“Go help your brothers Chipmunk!”
Six years ago, my wife gave birth to our biggest child! It was the most scary birth of the three and I don’t think I’d be able to do it again without losing my mind! Addison did not want to come out!!! And then when she finally did come out she was PURPLE!!! Which that was scary too! Doctor had to slap her a few times to get those lungs working. But finally came around and wha-lah! My little chipmunk was born breathing on top of my wife! Now a Daddy to a baby girl!!!
Six years. It’s going fast!
Happy Birthday Addison Marie!! I love you!
That’s all for now! Until next time:
PEACE
