What a Week!

Time it Takes to Read:

What a week it has been!

So shortly after my last post; was doing my best to keep up on working out and getting up early and all that… Well, then all of a sudden I was tired and lethargic and didn’t want to do anything. I was so tired. I figured it was heat exhaustion. Maybe something else. Not sure. It’s been a long week! What a week! I would take a nap after every work day last week and I couldn’t get up in the morning on time to work out. And I wasn’t eating hardly anything. Maybe I had a bug; maybe it was just being tired from the heat. Whatever it was it made me very tired! Up until yesterday, I was still feeling pretty exhausted.

Monday took no cakes…

On Monday; Sarah and I both were working a little later than we usually do and I decided to cook our supper. Little did I know that my cutting knife would like to cut off half of my fingernail on my left-hand index finger. Happy typing for me! However; my friend Dr. Fred and his wife Jen helped me out and cauterized the incision and made it great again! Well, it still hurts, but that is my stupidity.  I look forward to making a full recovery within four months. This has been a week for certain!

Excuse, No Excuse.

Regardless; I think it goes without saying that I haven’t been able to work out the way I wanted to. However, I have been very encouraged by all the feedback that I have been getting from you all and will keep up on it as the weeks go by. I am encouraged by all the advice and cheers that I have been getting. Thank you for your help and the encouragement to keep my going to do it! Tonight is going to be a long walk with Sarah, and tomorrow is going to be a long run. Saturday I am hoping for a mountain bike excursion with FreedomSystem.org – got to make it happen! What a week it has been and I look to rectify my situation with a better excuse of no excuses allowed.

Until next time:

PEACE
