Where I’ve Been

Time it Takes to Read:

Hiding from the Blog

Where I’ve been? I have been hiding these last few weeks from you all here. I have been hiding in my work! Working my new job and the old jobs make it difficult sometimes. It feels like the candle is burning at both ends. However; I am having fun learning! Concurrently learning and using my Adobe Illustrator skills is fantastic, and I love it.

The Kids

Little Kenny’s been doing awesome in baseball this year, he’s not playing the positions that he wants (to be honest we are all a little upset about that).  However, he is keeping his chin up and still loving baseball. He told me that he might love drumming a little bit more though… “Is that okay Dad?”  Absolutely, son! We have always said we want him to figure out what he wants to do, and it has been an amazing journey watching him play!

Bradley has been slaying it too! He is into drawing cartoons. I am very proud of him. His drawings remind me of myself at his age, only his are much better. He says that he wants to do soccer, but we are not certain that is something we want him to do because he has bad follow-through on sports. We will try though in the fall to get him into some soccer. Both of the boys want to videos. I think they watch all of these family videos on YouTube, they want to do that. They keep asking me to teach them to create. We will get there! That’s a promise!

Addison is so beautiful and her attitude is adjusted daily to fit that of a girl rather than a toddler. She loves her dresses, matter-of-fact, shooting a wedding today for a friend, and Addison is beyond herself right now. She gets to wear a dress! Consequently, she may be the prettiest little girl at the wedding, but then again, I am biased!

The Wife

My wife has ended her job at Grossnickle and has come to the ModWay Homes family, all the while still doing Sarah Marie Sewing! This is amazing to be able to work with my wife in the scope of actual work. The children are all way happier they get to see Mommy much more, and they get to eat outside with her during the day. Sarah is amazing with all the little things that I cannot as a parent. Sarah is the nurturer and I am the scabbard!

Me, Bradley, and my Dad. What a dinner!

Me

My left shoulder has been acting up again. It’s about an inch and a half out of the socket – yay!  But I have the photos to show from the X-Ray, it’s fun. Said no one ever. But that is happening. However, it is Ross’s wedding day! Time to go get ready, pack my bags, and make things happen!

The Final Paragraph

I have been working on doing many things for many different groups, but I wanted to shout out to FreedomSystem.org! We had an amazing benefit dinner! We raised almost $7,000 for the charity! As the board of FreedomSystem.org, we will be able to do so many more things to help Veterans get out there. Look forward to more stuff to come!

Well, there you have it! If you need anything from me don’t hesitate to reach out here or by calling me!

Until next time:

PEACE
